What is Membership 101?

Membership 101 is your next step to discovering your purpose and making a difference. At Journey Church, we believe God created you for a reason—and Membership 101 is where you’ll uncover how your unique design fits into His greater plan.

Through a three-step journey, you’ll learn about the mission of Journey Church, explore your spiritual gifts and personality, and find a Serve Team where you can start making an impact.

  • When: Second Sunday of each month

  • Time: 11:30 AM–12:30 PM

  • Lunch & Childcare Provided (Birth–5th Grade)

  • Cost: Free, but space is limited—reserve your spot today!

Your 3-Step Journey to Purpose

Membership 101 is designed to help you grow in your faith, discover your purpose, and get connected in a way that makes a difference. Here’s what each step looks like:

Step One

Learn About Membership 101

Learn the heart, vision, and values of Journey Church.
Get to know our story, what we believe, and how we do church. This is where you’ll meet leaders, hear how we pursue God’s presence, and learn how you can be part of a Spirit-filled, purpose-driven community.

Step Two

Discover your design

Uncover how God uniquely created you to live with purpose.
You’ll take a spiritual gifts and personality assessment that reveals how your wiring points toward your calling. This step helps you see how your passions, talents, and life experiences are all part of God’s plan.

Step Three

Make a difference

Take your next step and join a Serve Team.
Find a team where you can use your gifts to serve others and grow in community. Whether it’s kids, worship, outreach, or hospitality—there’s a place for you to shine and help others encounter Jesus.
